House Rules and Usage Information
By checking into the accommodation, guests agree to abide by the house rules. In the event of serious or repeated violations, the owner reserves the right to end the stay early. We rely on your sense of responsibility!
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Of course, smoking is permitted on the terrace; an ashtray is provided, and we kindly ask that you use it.
Pets
Pets may be allowed after prior consultation. Please contact us in advance regarding this.
Nachtrust
Please respect the Madeiran quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, we ask that you be considerate of us and the neighbors – no loud music or parties. Excessive noise during quiet hours can, under Portuguese law, result in fines ranging from €200 to €1000.
Windows and Doors
Air the rooms daily to prevent mold. Close windows and doors when leaving the house, as it may rain unexpectedly. The windows in the bathroom and toilet may always be left open.
Inventory
Furniture, appliances, and furnishings must not be moved or used for other purposes. Please do not take anything home; the inventory is checked after each stay.
Heating
Some rooms and the bathroom have electric heaters. These may of course be used, but are usually not necessary. Do not heat with open windows, and do not set the heaters higher than 23 °C.
Electrical Appliances
Please follow the appliance manuals. Switch off all electrical devices when leaving the house or when not in use.
Kitchen
When cooking, use the extractor fan (built into the cooktop) and open a window.
Bathroom
When using the jacuzzi function, fill the bathtub only just above the jets and do not use soap, otherwise it may overflow. In the small bathroom cabinet next to the toilet, we offer locally produced bath salts at a fair price, which you can use in the tub.
Water & Elektricitity
Please use water and electricity responsibly to respect the environment. Remember to turn off the lights when leaving the house.
Visitors
Only the persons specified in the booking are permitted to stay overnight in the apartment.
Garbage
Please dispose of waste as instructed and do not leave food scraps outside.
Damage & Liability
Please report any damage or defects immediately so that we can address them quickly. Guests are responsible for any damage they cause to the furnishings or inventory, or for lost keys. Missing or broken items will be charged. The landlord is not…

Internet / WiFi
Use only for legal purposes. The password must not be shared with third parties.
Not allowed
Our apartment is intended as a place of peace, nature, and relaxation. We kindly ask for your understanding that party groups and bachelor/bachelorette parties are not allowed.
